With Dredge making a huge resurgence in Modern thanks to some of the latest cards from Shadows over Innistrad, Frank tries to find out whether the archetype is legit.
The list we’re trying out this week is an interesting Mono-Blue control list complete with cards like Guile and Confirm Suspicions. It was piloted by Magic Online user k_f_chicken to a 5-0 finish on Magic Online!
This week in the Magic Minute, Frank discusses his performance at Grand Prix Albuquerque, one of the greatest trolls of all time that he was subject to at the event, and a huge announcement in the wake of Pro Tour Shadows Over Innistrad!
I’m heading to Grand Prix Albuquerque this weekend to compete in some Shadows Over Innistrad Sealed, and for this week’s Magic Minute (which can be found every Friday on NumotGaming.com) I want you guys to “ask me anything.” Ask whatever questions you’ve always wanted answered in the comments – about me or Magic or anything – and I’ll pick some of the best ones to answer for this week’s Magic Minute! Of course all comments will initially be moderated, so keep that in mind before you post.
I look forward to hearing what’s on your minds and thanks for reading!
Death and Taxes is a pretty standard Modern deck, complete with a lot of disruptive creatures. Magic Online user becle918 went one step further and included disruptive Eldrazi as well, including things like Eldrazi Displacer and Thought-Knot Seer.
While the changes to the Modern Banned and Restricted list don’t go into effect until April 13th, we did manage to find a sweet Death and Taxes list that not only uses powerful Eldrazi, but also eschews using Eye of Ugin! Come watch Modern Monday live!
